  • this tape means the world to me. you mean the world to me. thank you impose for making this physical.

"straight out of noah’s dreamy wonderland of lo-fi sound and magic, being among the most beautiful stuff i’ve heard all year...twisted sunshine pop." -no fear of pop, also #24 on nfop's year end album list.

"noah klein made the great american double finger salute tour through the heart darknesses that some out there call "culture", dragging his toy pianos, plastic monster masks, and broken, half-ass-embled guitars through the muck of high-end cheese, lofty renaissance portraiture, sauerkraut forests, hashish firesales. poor man came out richer, and our latest impose tape is the evidence." -impose magazine

"a coral reef shaped into a music-box at whose top stands a ballerina, spinning in a codeine haze to the muffled echo of a forgotten 2-step banger backdrop, the warmth and craft which is lacking from many a downsized animal collective clone clogging the airwaves of the underground. we think he is great." -20jazzfunkgreats

"waking up on a grey day after a sleepless night" -neu magazine

about

if the phrase 'happiness only real when shared' sounds familiar, then you've either read or seen into the wild. these sounds were made possible by my friends, and recorded during november '09 through october '10 living and bedrooms (and even a cave) across new york, santa cruz, los angeles, london, paris, and an airport in madrid. samples of my friends are recalled throughout the collection.
